Definitions

• (cycling) A discipline in track cycling where two opposing teams of up to 4 cyclists start on opposite sides of the velodrome track and try to catch their opponents, or get a faster time over a pre-decided distance.
• (speed) A disciple in long track speedskating where two opposing teams of 3 speedskaters start on opposite sides of the long track ice rink and try to catch their opponents, or get a faster time against the clock over a pre-determined distance.
